In 2009, I started my wedding stationery business. It quickly took off and before I knew it I was featured in blogs and magazines as far away as Australia.
It was great except I was busiest in the spring and early summer. My oldest daughter's birthday, our wedding anniversary, and all the fun school activities happened at the same time.
The biggest issue with this business was my faith. Marriage is a Sacrament. We were married in our church with a Mass. It was the most important part of our wedding. Yet, here I was making program fans for weddings on beaches and in forests. And invitations for weddings in hotel ballrooms and on rooftops. I only did a few church weddings and only one was Catholic.
It was good business but not one that was good for my soul or my family. So, I said goodbye to the wedding stationery business.
I had to figure out what to do instead. Since I love everything vintage, especially books, I decided I would focus on selling those. This worked perfectly for years when my kids were small because it wasn't as all consuming .
The only problem was I missed making things and the Holy Spirit was calling me to evangelize. So we have designed 55 Catholic Saints and are featuring them on instant download greeting cards, water bottles, and soon notebooks and pencil bags. These are perfect gifts for Sacraments, birthdays and baptism anniversaries.
We also have a new line of Catholic t-shirts and a unique Vintage Catholic Market.
I hope you will join us as we start over and grow in this new direction. With the Holy Spirit behind us, we are already a success.
Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy.
